I just watched a six part episode on YouTube about Robert Capa's life. It is amazing how one of the interviewee pointed out how different the photographs of Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson and David Seymour were. I did not really realize it until she pointed out that Robert Capa's photographs are more into the emotion, gestures and emphasizes on how different his compositions were.
Other than the technical aspect of the photographs, we can learn a lot from Robert Capa. He was a risk taker like the many successful entrepreneurs that we have today. It was amazing to eventually realize watching that he reinvented himself from Endre Friedmann to Robert Capa. He lived a full life showing the darkness of war and most of all showing the enduring light of the human spirit. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I have.
